Sgonondo cools off behind bars

Kwaito muso and dance
floor wizard Sgonondo spent a few hours behind bars
after performing his dance exploits on his fragile girlfriend Buhle Khoza.
Sgonondo was arrested after he allegedly moered Khoza at his rented Midrand townhouse on Wednesday last week.
It is alleged the couple were sitting on the verandah of his condo when the muso accused her of being a “dizzy moon” (a loose woman).
A heated argument erupted and Sgonondo, real name Jamela Vuma, flipped his wig
and stormed into the house. He then went into their bedroom, yanked open a
wardrobe door and started throwing Khoza’s
belongings out of the house.
Sgonondo then ordered her to voetsek.
It is alleged that while she was picking up her belongings he accused her of
being a floozie .
After his tirade the Amadragon hit-maker assaulted
her with open hands in full view of the onlookers.
“He even kicked her while she was lying on the ground. It is unfortunate. How
can he accuse her of sleeping around if he doesn’t have proof? ” asks our
source.
Khoza rushed to the Midrand
Police Station, where she reported the matter.
Police spokesman Captain Martin Hulk confirms they are investigating a case
of domestic violence against Sgonondo.
Hulk says he “spent some time in the police holding cells and was released on
a warning”.
He will appear at the Midrand Magistrates’ Court
tomorrow for a plea.
When contacted for comment the bellicose Khoza
said: “No comment.”
Sgonondo, whose second album Anaconda is being
devoured in music circles, couldn’t be reached for comment.
Sgonondo was previously involved in a public spat
with a Jozi man Neo Masilo.
Masilo had threatened to bliksem
Sgonondo for stealing Khoza.
